More Than Enough

It is Thanksgiving Week! This week probably more than any other week of the year we pause and think about the blessings in our lives, the things we are thankful for, the grace and peace we have in Christ, in addition to so many other things.

Pastor Ryan emphasizes the deeper meaning behind these blessings that include spiritual benefits such as grace, forgiveness and the presence of the Holy Spirit. This mornings message underscores the idea that God has given us more than enough in every area of our lives including the spiritual blessings to help us navigate both the good and challenging times in our lives. We take a look at the concepts of holiness and blamelessness in our relationship with God, and how they suggest that, due to Jesus Christ's redemptive work and God's forgiveness of our sins, we are capable of standing before God as holy and blameless beings, set apart from the world. We area called to seek a deeper relationship with God, pursing what he has for us, acknowledge His blessings and rely on His transformative power. We have so much to be thankful for at thanksgivng. It is a season where we are all reminded of the blessings we have and how with Christ we have been given more than enough.
