A Christian School is an extension of the Christian home.  Common, consistent morals and values, reinforced by the family, church and school, help develop stability within children. Just as a three legged stool only works when all three legs are working. (Proverbs 22:6).  The foundation of our philosophy is that all truth, regardless of subject or content, comes from God because God is truth.
We invite you to be a part of this process of training, equipping, and teaching as much as you possibly can. Who We Are

We are a Pre-K through 6th grade school dedicated to partnering with parents in the education of their children. We want to see students thrive in their academics, their faith, at home and in life. 

What We Do

We focus on laying a solid foundation in our students lives that will serve them well past their time at CityHope School. Not only in their academics but in life. Like any building, the structure is only as good as the foundation. These early years of eduction are a vital part of setting the trajectory for all that they will do and become.

Our History

CityHope Christian School, a ministry of CityHope Church, was founded in 1976 as Maranatha Christian School.  We are dedicated to laying the foundation for the rest of our student's education by encouraging them to excel in their academic pursuits while also instilling Christian principles that will help them to develop a mature spiritual life.

The faculty and administration of CityHope Christian Schools seek to provide students with a safe learning environment and a strong academic program that will promote excellence in education.  Every person on our staff is prepared spiritually and academically to teach, influence, and guide your children, and we strive to offer this quality education based on Biblical standards. Our goal is to prepare the whole student: spiritually, intellectually, emotionally, and physically (Luke 2:52), and we will do so according to the highest moral and academic principles. We emphasize good citizenship, service, patriotism, temperance, good communication skills (written and verbal), technological competence, good health habits, and a deeper spiritual life based on the New Testament experience of accepting Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior.

We desire to impart a Christian world view that will equip our students to live victorious, Christ-centered lives in a culture that would invite them to do otherwise.  We strive to graduate students who possess high moral values, a strong academic mind and a love of Christ.

ICCP (Idaho Child Care Program)


CityHope Schools is an approved ICCP provider. ICCP is a government assistance program that will in part or in whole pay for childcare needs. This assistance program is applicable for all preschool/daycare, extended care and Summer Adventures programs offered at CityHope Schools. If you have questions about this program we would be happy to answer what we can but you can find a full description of ICCP and the necessary steps and requirements on the Idaho Health and Welfare website.
